Questions

WHEN WILL I GET MY HOLIDAY PAYMENT?

You will always receive your holiday pay in the last week of May or the first week of June of each calendar year.

DOES OPUS HAVE A COLLECTIVE INSURANCE?

Yes, when you come to register with Opus, we ask if you want to take out insurance with us. This only applies to non-Dutch employees. If you are a Dutch resident, we unfortunately cannot include you in our collective insurance.

AM I ALSO SOCIAL INSURANCE?

Yes, as a temporary worker you are fully covered by social insurance. Benefits for sickness, unemployment and other social insurances therefore also apply to you. Do you want to know more about social legislation? In 'De Kleine Gids', which you can order from the Information Center for Social Insurance and is available in bookshops, you will find almost everything about social legislation.

AM I ALSO ACCURATING A PENSION?

Of course. After 26 weeks you will automatically join our STIPP Basis pension scheme. When you go to Phase 3 it changes to STIPP Plus. If you switch from employment agency to Opus and you also had a STIPP pension with this agency, please let us know and we will continue this.

If you work as a flex worker in phase 2 or 3, the pension premium is calculated on your pension basis. An amount is first deducted from your hourly wage. This amount is called franchise. Pension contributions are then paid on the remaining amount, your pensionable earnings. As a flex worker you pay 1/3 of this premium, Opus pays 2/3.
