Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) Increase for the Flower and Plant Wholesale Sector
What Changes from 1 July 2026?
Do you work in the flower and plant wholesale sector, or do you employ people in this industry? Then there is good news: salaries will increase as of 1 July 2026. Below, we explain what is changing and what it means for you.
1% Salary Increase from 1 July 2026
According to the current Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) for the flower and plant wholesale sector (2024–2026 term), employees will receive a 1% salary increase as of 1 July 2026. This is the final step of a three-year wage agreement that also included increases on 1 January 2025 and 1 January 2026.
Who Does This Apply To?
The increase applies to employees covered by the CLA for the Flower and Plant Wholesale Sector. Please note that employees above salary scale 6 are not automatically entitled to the CLA salary increase. Therefore, it is important to check for each employee whether the increase applies.
What Does This Mean for Employers?
As an employer in the flower and plant wholesale sector, you are required to apply the new salary scales from 1 July 2026. Make sure your payroll administration is updated in time and communicate the change to your employees promptly.
Do you work with temporary agency workers or seconded employees? In that case, the hirer's remuneration principle also applies: temporary workers are entitled to the same employment conditions as permanent employees in your sector, including this salary increase.
Do you work with Opus Recruitment? Then you do not need to take any action for employees working through us. We automatically implement CLA changes in our payroll administration, ensuring that the correct remuneration is applied from 1 July 2026.
