Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) Update: Wage Changes Open Field Cultivation and Status of Greenhouse Horticulture 

At Opus Recruitment, we consider it essential to keep both clients and temporary workers informed in a timely manner about changes in employment conditions. Important adjustments are scheduled for the Open Field Cultivation sector, while negotiations in Greenhouse Horticulture are still ongoing. 

 

CLA Open Field Cultivation: 2% wage increase as of July 1, 2026 According to the current CLA agreements (subject to change), a wage increase will be implemented as of July 1, 2026. This measure is intended to support employees’ purchasing power within the sector. 

Key points: 

Increase: structural wage increase of 2%  

Scope: applicable to employees in pay scales C through H  

 

What does this mean for you? 

For temporary workers: 
If you are classified in scale C or higher, your hourly wage will in principle be increased by 2% as of July 1. This change will be reflected on your payslip. 

For clients: 
The increase in gross wages will affect labour costs. We will inform our partners in a timely manner about the exact rate adjustments and the impact on ongoing placements. 

 

Current status: CLA Greenhouse Horticulture 

At this moment, no final agreement has yet been reached for the Greenhouse Horticulture CLA. Negotiations between employer organizations and trade unions are currently in a concluding phase. 

Final offer: Employers have made a final offer of a 3% wage increase for one year  

Current situation: Trade unions are reviewing this proposal. Until a final agreement is reached, the current pay scales remain in effect
